Sunshine after the rain / 晴れ間

Sunshine during rainy season. 

Normally, rainy season in Tokyo area starts from early June and ends in middle of July. It is very humid though, we need a lot of rain to grow plenty of rice (our staple food). Rain is blessing from nature.

雨の後の晴れ間。

東京の梅雨は、六月上旬から七月中旬まで。

蒸し暑い季節だが、米づくりには欠かせない。
